The amendment to Notification No. 55/87-Cus involves omitting the words and figures related to 'raw wool' under heading No. 51.01. For Notification No. 192/88-Cus, the amendment changes the duty rate from '5% ad valorem' to 'ten per cent ad valorem.' These changes are made in the public interest as per the powers conferred by the Customs Act.
