of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: Importers Can Replenish Raw Materials for Manufacturing Goods Under New Paragraph 1A</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 513/86-Customs, originally issued on December 30, 1986, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment allows for the inclusion of the phrase 'or for replenishment of raw materials and components used in the manufacture of such goods already so supplied' after specific words in the notification. Additionally, a new paragraph 1A is inserted, permitting importers to use imported raw materials or components for manufacturing other goods if the original goods have already been supplied as required under the notification, notwithstanding the conditions in paragraph 1.
