of <h1>Customs Tariff Exemption Deadline Extended to March 31, 1991, via Amendment to Notification No. 349/85-Customs</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 349/85-Customs, originally dated December 5, 1985, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment extends the validity of certain customs tariff exemptions. Specifically, the deadline in paragraph 2 of the original notification has been changed from December 31, 1990, to March 31, 1991. This extension is deemed necessary in the public interest and is formalized through Notification No. 302/90-Customs, dated December 31, 1990.
