of <h1>India Exempts Donkey Stallions for Mule Breeding from Some Customs Duty per Notification No. 46/91-Cus</h1> The Central Government of India, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 46/91-Cus dated July 25, 1991, to exempt donkey stallions imported for mule breeding from a portion of customs duty. This exemption applies to imports by the Government of India or State Governments and reduces the duty to 35% ad valorem, as specified in Chapter 1 of the First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. This measure is deemed necessary in the public interest.
