of <h1>Government Revises Customs Duty Rates to 100% for Most Goods under Notifications 42/90-Cus., 43/90-Cus., and 44/90-Cus.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification Nos. 42/90-Cus., 43/90-Cus., and 44/90-Cus., under the Customs Act, 1962, to revise the customs duty rates. For Notification No. 42/90-Cus., entries in the specified table are updated to '100% ad valorem' for several serial numbers. Similarly, Notification No. 43/90-Cus. entries are changed to '100% ad valorem' for listed serial numbers. Notification No. 44/90-Cus. replaces its table with a new one, specifying rates like '100% ad valorem' for most goods, with some exceptions such as '70% ad valorem' for organic surface active agents and '60% ad valorem' for lubricating preparations.
