<h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Palm Oils and Brass Scrap under Customs Act, 1962, Effective June 13, 2002</h1> The Government of India has issued an amendment to Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated August 3, 2001, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, effective June 13, 2002, revises the tariff values for certain goods. The updated tariff values per metric tonne are as follows: Crude Palm Oil at $392, RBD Palm Oil at $414, RBD Palmolein at $426, Crude Palmolein at $411, and Brass Scrap (all grades) at $1084. This change is enacted by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, to adjust the tariff values for these commodities.
