of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Notification with New Entry, Effective January 1992, for Public Interest</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 24/91-Cus., dated 14th March 1991, under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962 and the Finance Act, 1991. This amendment, effective from 15th January 1992, involves the insertion of a new entry, Serial No. 292, in the schedule of the existing notification. This change is made in the public interest as per Notification No. 19/92-Cus.
