The amendment introduces a new table specifying the ad valorem rates for various sub-headings under Chapter 17. Goods under sub-headings 1701.11 and 1701.12 are subject to a 40% ad valorem rate, while goods under sub-headings 1701.99, 1702.10, 1703.10, and 1703.90 are subject to a 60% ad valorem rate. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest.
