of <h1>Govt Amends Customs Duty on Raw Rubber, Synthetic Materials from 40% to 45% Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act.</h1> Notification No. 65/92-Cus, dated March 1, 1992, issued by the Central Government under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, amends the previous notification No. 82/86-Customs from February 17, 1986. The amendment involves changing the customs duty rate on raw rubber and synthetic materials listed under Chapter 40 from '40% ad valorem' to '45% ad valorem.' This change is made in the interest of the public.
