The amendment modifies the previous notification from 1987, specifying new duty rates for various goods under Chapters 84 and 85. The revised rates include 3% ad valorem for internal combustion piston engines for aeroplanes, 15% for compressor parts and electrical resistors, 50% for self-propelled trucks, and varying rates for different types of valves, magnets, circuit protection apparatus, carbon electrodes, and insulators designed for specific electrical uses.
