The exemption includes a reduction of the customs duty to 35% ad valorem and a waiver of additional duties, provided that an authorized officer certifies the necessity of the goods for wheelchair production. Importers must also commit to using the goods as specified, with penalties for non-compliance involving repayment of the duty difference.
