of <h1>New Customs Notification 111/92 Offers Duty Exemptions for Select Imported Goods, Superseding Notification 118/86</h1> Notification No. 111/92-Cus, dated March 1, 1992, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, supersedes the earlier notification No. 118/86-Customs. It provides exemptions on customs duties for specific goods imported into India, as listed in the annexed table. These goods include color scanners for the printing industry, measuring instruments under headings 90.17 and 90.31, medical, dental, surgical, and veterinary instruments under headings 90.18, 90.19, and 90.20, and voltmeters for switchboards over 250 volts, all subject to a specified ad valorem duty rate.
