of <h1>Customs Act Notification: Goods Under Chapter 92 Exempt from Duties Over 30% Ad Valorem for Public Interest</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 114/92-Cus dated March 1, 1992, to exempt all goods classified under Chapter 92 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from customs duties exceeding 30% ad valorem when imported into India. This exemption is deemed necessary in the public interest.
