of <h1>Government Exempts Simulator Components for Aircraft from Part of Auxiliary Customs Duty under Customs Act 1962, Chapter 88</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962 and the Finance Bill, 1992, has exempted component parts of simulators for aeroplanes and other aircrafts from a portion of the auxiliary customs duty. This exemption applies to imports falling under Chapter 88 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The exemption reduces the auxiliary duty to align with the rate applicable to component parts of aeroplanes or other aircrafts, as specified in the Finance Bill and any current notifications. This measure is enacted in the public interest.
