These coin blanks, produced from cold rolled stainless steel strips sent out of India for coin blanking, are subject to a reduced duty rate of 65% of their value. This exemption applies to conversion charges, including labor, material costs (excluding the original strips), and other related charges, as well as insurance and freight charges. Conditions include importation within three years and evidence of origin from Indian-sent strips.
