of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: Bulk Drugs Duty Reduced from 50% to 25% Effective June 19, 1992.</h1> The Central Government, under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962, has amended Notification No. 166/92-Customs dated April 30, 1992. This amendment, made in the public interest, changes the customs duty rate on bulk drugs from '50 per cent ad valorem' to '25 per cent ad valorem.' The amendment is formalized in Notification No. 217/92-Customs, dated June 19, 1992, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
