of <h1>India Revises Tariff Values: Brass Scrap Set at $3100, Poppy Seeds at $2830 Per Metric Tonne</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has amended Notification No. 36/2001-Cus (N.T.) dated 3rd August 2001, concerning tariff values for certain commodities. The updated notification, No. 122/2009-Customs (N.T.), dated 13th August 2009, revises the table of tariff values for crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, other palm oils, crude palmolein, RBD palmolein, other palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, and poppy seeds. Notably, the tariff values for most items remain unchanged, except for brass scrap and poppy seeds, which are set at $3100 and $2830 per metric tonne, respectively.
