of <h1>Deadline for Importing Machinery for Light Combat Aircraft Program Extended to December 31, 1992, under Customs Act Section 25(1)</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 228/88-Customs, originally issued on August 1, 1988, concerning the import of machinery and equipment for the Light Combat Aircraft Programme. Exercising powers under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, the amendment extends the deadline from June 30, 1992, to December 31, 1992. This change is made in the public interest and is formalized through Notification No. 234/92-Cus, dated June 26, 1992.
