of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: New Definition for 'Advance Licence' Includes Various Licence Types from 1992-1997 Export-Import Policy.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 204/92-Cus, dated May 19, 1992, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment pertains to the definition of 'Advance Licence' within the notification. The revised definition now includes Quantity based Advance Licence issued under para 50, Advance Intermediate Licence under para 55, and Quantity based Advance Licence under para 72 of the Export and Import Policy for April 1992-March 1997. This change is made in the public interest, as per the powers granted by section 25 of the Customs Act.
