of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: Changes to Descriptions for Rings, Cups, and Cones in Notification No. 70/89-Customs.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 70/89-Customs, dated March 1, 1989, under the powers conferred by section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962. The amendments, outlined in Notification No. 271/92-Cus dated September 8, 1992, involve changes to the descriptions in the Table annexed to the original notification. Specifically, for S. No. 4, item (a), the term 'Inner and outer rings' is replaced with 'Inner rings, outer rings or inner and outer rings.' Similarly, for S. No. 6, item (a), 'Cups and cones' is changed to 'Cups, cones or cups and cones,' and item (b) is revised similarly.
