<h1>Concessional 15% Customs Duty on Veterinary Formulations Like Avoparcin and Ivermectin Announced by Central Government</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 28/93-Cus dated February 28, 1993, granting a concessional customs duty rate of 15% ad valorem for specified veterinary formulations. These formulations, listed in the annexed table and falling under the First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, include Avoparcin, Bovine Somatotropin, Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH), Buparvaquone, Ivermectin, Muduramycin Ammonium/Haduramycin Ammonium, Lincospectin, and Prostaglandin F Alpha. This measure is taken in the public interest to reduce the customs duty on these goods.
