<h1>Government Revises Tariff Values for Palm Oils and Brass Scrap Under Customs Act, 1962; New Rates Effective May 1, 2002.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), altering the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The revised tariff values per metric tonne are: Crude Palm Oil at $314, RBD Palm Oil at $341, RBD Palmolein at $349, Crude Palmolein at $334, and Brass Scrap (all grades) at $1084. This amendment, issued on May 1, 2002, replaces the previous table in the notification dated August 3, 2001, and follows several prior amendments.
