of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Notifications for Public Welfare; Key Changes Include Ceramic Fibre Blocks at 45% Duty</h1> The Central Government has amended notifications 60/86-Cus, 76/90-Cus, and 77/90-Cus under the Customs Act, 1962, in the interest of public welfare. Notification 60/86-Cus has been modified by omitting Sl. No. 2 and its related entries. Notification 76/90-Cus has been revised by replacing Sl. Nos. 1 to 5 with new entries, specifically including ceramic fibre blocks for industrial furnaces at 45% ad valorem. Notification 77/90-Cus has been altered by removing Sl. No. 2 and its associated entries. These changes are effective as of February 28, 1993.
