of <h1>Government Amends Notification on Polyvinyl Chloride Resin Duty Rates; Effective Date Now August 1, 1993</h1> The Central Government, exercising its powers under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, has amended Notification No. 3/93-Cus dated February 2, 1993, concerning Polyvinyl Chloride Resin. The amendments specify that the duty rates in the schedule apply, except for goods imported by 100% export-oriented units, free trade zone units, or under an advance license, which are exempt from customs duty as per certain government notifications. Additionally, the effective date in paragraph 2 has been changed from June 1, 1993, to August 1, 1993.
