of <h1>Govt. exempts customs duty on machinery for Bolangir ordnance project; valid till December 31, 1996.</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 181/93-Cus, dated November 12, 1993, granting an exemption from customs duty and additional duty for machinery, instruments, and tools imported for setting up ammunition filling facilities at an ordnance factory project in Bolangir, Orissa. This exemption applies to imports by the Ordnance Factory Board, Calcutta, provided the importer submits a certified list of goods required for the project, confirming they are not manufactured in India and will be used solely for the project. This exemption is valid until December 31, 1996.
