of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Notifications to Exclude Acetic Anhydride Imports from Benefits Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under the Customs Act, 1962, has amended certain customs notifications to exclude the import of Acetic Anhydride from the benefits provided by these notifications. The amendments apply to Notifications No. 203/92, 204/92, 260/92, 299/92, and 101/93, each dated between May 1992 and March 1993. In each case, a proviso is added to the relevant clauses, explicitly stating that the provisions of these notifications do not apply to the import of Acetic Anhydride. These changes are deemed necessary in the public interest.
