The notification exempts these goods from certain customs duties when imported into India. The exemption applies to the extent that the duty exceeds the specified rates in the notification's annexed table. For instance, goods under chapter headings 3206.43 and 3504.00 are subject to a 55% ad valorem rate, while dipping oil and Paclobutrazol under Chapter 38 are subject to a 15% ad valorem rate.
