of <h1>Reduced Customs Duty of 10% on Specific Machinery for Ground Power Units and Air Jet Starters Import</h1> Notification No. 74/94-Cus, dated March 1, 1994, issued under the Customs Act, 1962, exempts specific goods within Chapters 84 and 85 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from certain customs duties. The exempted items include diesel engines of 2400 rpm, alternators of 400 Hz, 115/200 V and 2400 rpm, and oil-free dry screw compressors. These goods, when imported into India for the manufacture of ground power units and air jet starters, are subject to a reduced customs duty rate of 10% ad valorem.
