of <h1>Govt Amends Customs Notifications Nos. 57/94-Cus. & 93/94-Cus.; Updates on Membrane Replacement & Entry Omissions</h1> The Central Government has amended Notifications No. 57/94-Cus. and No. 93/94-Cus. under the Customs Act, 1962, effective from March 21, 1994. For Notification No. 57/94-Cus., the amendment involves substituting the entry for S. No. 2 with a provision for replacing worn-out membranes in industrial plants using membrane cell technology. For Notification No. 93/94-Cus., S. No. 5 and its related entries have been omitted. These amendments are made in the public interest as per the authority granted by the Customs Act.
