of <h1>Amendment to Customs Notification: Licenses for ONGC, GAIL, OIL Materials Must Be Issued Before March 31, 1994</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 513/86-Cus regarding the exemption of materials used in manufacturing goods for ONGC, GAIL, and OIL. Under the Customs Act, 1962, this amendment specifies that licenses must be issued by the licensing authority before March 31, 1994. However, exceptions are made for licenses issued under transitional arrangements as per Notification No. 40 (RE)/92-97 by the Ministry of Commerce, dated May 9, 1994. This amendment is deemed necessary in the public interest.
