The amendment allows the import of specific items, including technical documents, machinery, and tools, necessary for manufacturing Bi-Modular Charge Systems for high-caliber ammunition at the Ordnance Factory Project in Nalanda, Bihar. Imports must be conducted by the Ordnance Factory Board, Kolkata, with certification from designated officials. The exemption applies only if the goods are not manufactured in India and will be used exclusively for the project, effective until November 30, 2005.
