The amendment involves changes in the ad valorem duty rates for certain goods listed in the original notification. Specifically, items listed under serial numbers 3 to 8 will now have a duty rate of 35% ad valorem, while items under serial numbers 9 and 10 will have a duty rate of 55% ad valorem. This change is enacted under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, in the interest of public welfare.
