of <h1>Central Govt Amends Customs Notification for Public Welfare, Updates Rule 191A/B Conditions Under Section 25(1)</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has amended a previous notification (No. 299/92-Customs) dated November 20, 1992, in the interest of public welfare. Specifically, condition (v), clause (b) has been replaced to stipulate that the facility under rule 191A or 191B, as they existed before October 1, 1994, or under rule 12(1)(b) or 13(1)(b) of the said rules, has not been utilized. This amendment is formalized under Notification No. 181/94-Cus, dated October 25, 1994.
