of <h1>Customs Act Amendment Expands Import Exemptions for Missile Development Program to Include Major Indian Companies</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has amended Notification No. 257/92-Cus dated August 12, 1992, concerning imports for the Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme. This amendment, effective December 28, 1994, adds several companies to the list of entities eligible for customs exemptions. The newly included entities span various industries and locations across India, such as Bharat Aluminium Company Limited, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Wipro Infotech Limited, Tata Engineering & Locomotives Company Limited, and Ashok Leyland Limited, among others.
