This notification, No. 19/95-Cus dated May 16, 1995, reduces customs duties on various chemicals when imported into India. The specified goods include crude iodine, lithium carbonate, soda ash, ammonia, enriched uranium, and various chemical compounds, with duty rates ranging from 10% to 40% ad valorem. Certain goods like enriched uranium and heavy water have additional conditions for duty reduction, such as specific use in atomic power reactors or stations.
