of <h1>Customs Act Update: 10% Duty Imposed on Goods Under Tariff Headings 43.01 or 43.02 via Notification No. 30/95</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has amended Notification No. 39/94-Customs dated March 1, 1994, through Notification No. 30/95-Customs dated March 16, 1995. This amendment introduces a new entry in the notification's annexed table, designated as S. No. 1A, which applies a 10 percent ad valorem duty on all goods classified under tariff headings 43.01 or 43.02. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest.
