of <h1>Government Rescinds Customs Notifications from 1953, 1958, 1963, and 1976 Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has rescinded several customs notifications in the public interest. The rescinded notifications include No. 2/53-Customs dated January 10, 1953; No. 275/58-Customs and No. 276/58-Customs both dated October 25, 1958; No. 92/63-Customs dated March 9, 1963; and No. 204/76-Customs dated August 2, 1976. This action was formalized through Notification No. 99/95-Customs dated May 26, 1995.
