of <h1>Customs Duty on Dried Vegetables Slashed to 5% Under Customs Act, 1962, Notification No. 118/95-Cus.</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 118/95-Cus dated June 30, 1995, to reduce the customs duty on dried vegetables to 5% ad valorem. This exemption applies to goods classified under heading No. 07.13 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The duty reduction is applicable to both standard and preferential rates, aiming to serve the public interest by lowering the import costs of these goods into India.
