of <h1>Govt Amends Additional Duty Rules 1976 by Removing Serial No. 1; Changes Effective Upon Gazette Publication</h1> The Central Government, under the powers granted by the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, has issued the Additional Duty (Amendment) Rules, 1995, through Notification No. 126/95-Cus dated August 7, 1995. These rules amend the Additional Duty Rules, 1976, by omitting Serial No. 1 and its related entries from the table annexed to the 1976 rules. The amendment takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
