<h1>Govt Expands IT Special Economic Zone in Gurgaon by 0.8236 Hectares Under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued a notification regarding the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Information Technology at Gwal Pahari Village, Gurgaon-Faridabad Road, Gurgaon, Haryana. M/s. Metro Valley Business Park (P) Limited initially proposed the SEZ under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, covering 10.393 hectares. The Central Government has approved an additional 0.8236 hectares to be included in the SEZ. This expansion is in accordance with the requirements of the Act, fulfilling all necessary conditions, and a letter of approval was granted on February 27, 2009.
