of <h1>India Updates Currency Conversion Rates for Export Goods Effective January 2002 Under Notification No. 64/2001 Customs (N.T.)</h1> Notification No. 64/2001 Customs (N.T.) issued on December 26, 2001, by the Government of India supersedes Notification No. 59/2001-Cus. (N.T.) dated November 26, 2001. It establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export goods, effective January 1, 2002. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for one unit of various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar at 47.70 INR and the Euro at 42.25 INR, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies like the Japanese Yen at 36.80 INR.
