of <h1>Govt Amends Customs Notification: Changes to Special Value Licence for Readymade Garments, Interest Rate Set at 24% Annually</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 107/95-Customs dated June 2, 1995, concerning imports under the Special Value Based Advance Licence for exporting readymade garments. The amendments include the omission of clause (b) in condition (3), adding an interest rate of 24% per annum in clause (c), and modifying condition (5) to require evidence of export obligation discharge to the satisfaction of the Assistant Commissioner of Customs. Additionally, the requirement for executing a bond before clearing goods from customs has been specified under both import and export headings, with Part I under export omitted.
