of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 130/95-Customs: Exporters Can Use Components for Manufacturing Under EPCG Scheme</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 130/95-Customs, dated August 25, 1995, under the EPCG Scheme for the import of capital goods. The amendment, issued under Notification No. 163/95-Cus dated December 1, 1995, adds a proviso to condition (iv). It allows exporters, who have already supplied the required capital goods, to use components for manufacturing other capital goods in their factory. Exporters must provide evidence of receipt and utilization of these components to the Assistant Commissioner of Customs at the port of importation instead of the certificate previously required under clause (3).
