of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: Streamlined Import Rules for Export Orders, Key Terms Removed from Notification No. 81/95-Customs</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 81/95-Customs, dated March 31, 1995, under the Customs Act, 1962, to facilitate the import of goods for fulfilling export orders. The amendments involve the removal of the terms 'repairing, servicing, restoration, reconditioning or renovation' from condition (i) and the exclusion of 'and includes second-hand capital goods so supplied' from Explanation (ii). These changes are made in the public interest to streamline the customs process for such imports.
