of <h1>Customs Duty on ECG Transtelephonic Equipment Reduced to 15% Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 65/88-Customs to reduce the customs duty on ECG transtelephonic recorder/transmitter/recorder-cum-transmitter to 15% ad valorem. This amendment, made under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, is deemed necessary in the public interest. The change is documented in Notification No. 168/95-Cus, dated December 19, 1995, and updates the table in the original notification by adding a new entry under heading (C) with serial number 132 for the specified medical equipment.
