of <h1>India Imposes Additional Duty on Bisphenol-A Imports from Brazil and Russia Under Customs Tariff Act, 1975</h1> The Central Government of India has imposed an additional duty on the import of Bisphenol-A from Brazil and Russia, following the findings of a designated authority regarding dumping practices. This measure is enacted under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and the related rules for identifying and addressing dumped articles. The duty rates are set at Rs. 10,263 per metric ton for imports from Brazil and Rs. 12,559 per metric ton for imports from Russia, as specified in the notification dated December 26, 1995.
