Now Included for Machine Imports</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 11/97-Customs, dated March 1, 1997, under the Customs Act, 1962, through Notification No. 65/97-Cus, dated September 2, 1997. This amendment modifies the entry at S. No. 126 in the notification's table. Specifically, it replaces the term 'Reserve Bank of India' with 'Reserve Bank of India or the Bhartiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited' in item (2) of column (3). This change is made in the public interest concerning the importation of machines by the RBI Note Printing Press.
