of <h1>Amendment Expands EPCG Scheme Exemption to Include Poultry Products Under Section 25(1) of the Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 111/95-Customs, dated June 5, 1995, under the powers granted by Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, effective from December 12, 1997, modifies the proviso in the first paragraph of the original notification. The amendment expands the exemption under the Export Promotion Capital Goods (EPCG) Scheme to include products of poultry, in addition to horticulture and floriculture. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest.
