of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 29/97-Customs Expands Exemptions to Include Poultry Products Under EPCG Scheme</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 29/97-Customs, dated April 1, 1997, under the powers granted by section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, issued through Notification No. 89/97-Cus. on December 12, 1997, modifies the original notification by replacing the phrase 'and products of horticulture and floriculture' with 'and products of horticulture, floriculture and poultry.' This change is deemed necessary in the public interest and pertains to exemptions under the EPCG Scheme.
