of <h1>Amendment to Notification No. 79/95-Customs: Imports and Exports Now Through Designated Ports, Airports, and Depots</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 79/95-Customs, dated March 31, 1995, under the VBAL Scheme, through Notification No. 90/97-Customs, dated December 19, 1997. This amendment, made under the Customs Act, 1962, modifies condition (iv) to specify that imports and exports must be conducted through designated sea ports, airports, or Inland Container Depots. The designated sea ports include Bombay, Calcutta, and others, while airports include Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and others. Inland Container Depots listed include Agra, Bangalore, and several more, ensuring a broader range of locations for import and export activities.
